Mission Statement:

Our mission is to provide an efficient, cost-effective service that develops professional scientific presentations; with a goal of assisting presenters in optimally conveying their message, and improving the overall quality of presentations at scientific meetings.

Who are we?

We are clinicians (Clinton Brawner and Jon Ehrman) who have spent the past 10 years working in a Preventive Cardiology program focused primarily on Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Throughout this time we have combined to develop and present well over 100 slide and poster presentations at local, regional, national and international meetings, and have received many compliments about our presentations. We have taken great pride in developing slides and posters that not only present the research data in a format that makes sense and enhances the findings, but also that is easy to read (colors used, size of print, and amount of data on a slide or a poster).

We weren't happy with the cost of our institution's art department, or the existing poster printing services. We also realized that not every clinician has the time and/or ability or knowledge to create a slide presentation or poster that will enhance their scientific findings or presentation.

Therefore, we developed SciencePresentations.com as an opportunity to share our abilities to create professional presentations at a low cost, with rapid turnaround and minimal costs in a rush situation. We feel that these are the most important options to offer to the busy clinician or scientist.

Other companies offer poster printing; however, their costs (and therefore prices to you) are higher than ours. In addition, they offer printing at only 300 or 600 dpi (dots per square inch) while we offer 1200 dpi as our standard, resulting in very high quality, easily readable text and graphics. No other company provides poster, slide development, proofreading, and template development services. We can even take your unformatted text and develop your poster or slides. Many professionals who have been making presentations for years have an arsenal of slides in 35 mm format. The number of individuals converting to Powerpoint™ type presentations from slide presentations is increasing every year. Using Powerpoint™ presentations eliminates the need to carry carousels full of slides when travelling, and makes last minute changes in the slide line-up easy. Many non-U.S. born individuals with limited English skills present at U.S.-based conferences. We have noted that many make mistakes and this takes away from the presentation. We will overread and make suggestions to these presentations (slide or poster) and make suggestions to improve the overall presentation.

Finally, we also provide template development services. These are for either a logo (institution or study) or poster/slide series for a multi-center study. These are designed to make your institution or study easily recognizable to anyone.
